E&O’s Andaman triumphs at PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final

In a glittering ceremony at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, PropertyGuru Group recently unveiled the winners of the 18th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final. The prestigious event, presented by Kohler and supported by Dongpeng Ceramic and Subzero Wolf, celebrated excellence in real estate development, construction, architecture, and design across 13 vibrant property markets in Asia.

One of the standout moments of the evening was the recognition of Eastern & Oriental Berhad’s (E&O) Andaman project in Penang, which clinched the Best Township Masterplan Design Award for Malaysia. This accolade underscores E&O’s commitment to innovation and meticulous planning in crafting a masterful township design that impressed the independent jury and positioned Andaman at the forefront of real estate excellence in the region.

Andaman, nestled within the captivating landscape of Penang, showcases E&O’s dedication to creating well-thought-out and innovative masterplans that go beyond conventional standards. Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) received the prestigious title of Best Affordable Homes Developer (Asia), highlighting the nation’s commitment to providing quality and affordable housing solutions. Noteworthy projects by Eupe Corporation Berhad and Sime Darby Property also contributed to Malaysia’s success on the regional stage.

Hari V. Krishnan, CEO and managing director of PropertyGuru Group, praised the culmination of the awards series as a celebration of changemakers who are shaping the future of cities in Asia.
